Cocojor Zen Spa Collection Helps Erin McLaughlin Win at Intergroom 2009
April 16 – 19, 2009 "The Red Carpet Show" Intergroom Competition in New Jersey
Erin McLaughlin, Owner and Lead Stylist of Little Shop of Howlers www.LittleShopOfHowlers.com , won first place and the gold medal for the Mixed and Miscellaneous class, won a gold medal out of a whopping 31 entries in the Poodle class, and moved up into the highest division they have, the A division. In 2008, Erin won the gold medal for the Poodle class in the Rising Star of the Year Competition.
Erin has worked with and owned animals for over 15 years and she fell in love with pet styling from the very beginning. She enjoys transforming pets and helping them put their best paw forward. To quench her competitive nature, Erin participates in national dog grooming competitions. She has won multiple Best All-Around Groomer awards, as well as Best In Show, and several first placements. Competing helps keep grooming exciting and fun every day, as well as giving her a better eye for details.
With the help of two colleagues, Erin is currently working on forming the Connecticut Groomer's Association. Their goal in this venture is to raise the standard for grooming salons in the state, as well as to offer their clients a directory of the participating salons. Erin will be featured in Groomer to Groomer magazine - read about how she loves Cocojor’s all-natural shampoos and conditioners.
